The key is to have an unifrom erosion profile all throughout the lining at the end of the campaign when a vessel is put down. Succesfully obtaining such wear out profiles reduces the lining cost per ton of liquid steel.
Important operational parameters of the vessel and the lining behaviour is observed and noted down by our on-line application engineers present at site all round the clock.
